Key areas of responsibility – Project specific duties:

Produce accurate detailed working drawings to industry-standard
Work within a team to deliver practical workable drawings for production / installation.
Capable of handle multiple projects simultaneously
Supporting the delivery of all assigned projects and meeting deadlines
Strong emphasis on supporting delivery for production and the Project Management team.

Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience Essential:

At least 5-7 years commercial experience as a Technical Designer, preferably in the shop-fitting / retail / point of sale sector/ industrial design using SolidWorks
The successful candidate will not only have excellent technical drawing skills, but be comfortable working under pressure, and someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment
A sound manufacturing knowledge of woodwork, metalwork, composites and acrylics.
Strong technical detailing ability to overcome architectural and technical problems
The ability to work on own initiative as well as being a team player
Able to work within a busy environment
Self-motivated and solutions driven
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines
Must have a ‘think outside of the box’ approach.
Must be adaptable to change and have the ability/desire to make a difference, a “Will Do” attitude.
Ability to maintain the professional competence, knowledge, and skill necessary for the successful performance of all assigned responsibilities.
